Multilogin Review 2025: Is It Still a Good Choice for Multi-Account Management?
Take a Quick Look
Multilogin Review 2025: Overpriced or Worth It? Full Anti-Detect Browser Breakdown!
When it comes to managing multiple accounts effectively, many users turn to advanced anti-detect browsers. Multilogin is one of the earlier players in this space, but there are also other options, like AdsPower, that also offer strong multi-account management features with added flexibility and user-friendly automation tools.
Over time, user reviews of Multilogin have become divided. While some continue to praise its stability, others criticize its outdated features and lack of innovation.
So, how well does Multilogin perform today? Is it still a good choice for users who need multi-account management, need to pass by restrictions, and are looking for a reliable antidetect browser? In this Multilogin review, we'll give you a complete, no-fluff analysis.
What is Multilogin?
At its core, Multilogin is a browser-based tool that lets users create independent browsing environments that appear unique to detection systems. It's mainly used by users to manage multiple identities on the same platform without getting banned.
Today, the company offers two versions: Multilogin 6 and the newer Multilogin X.
Importantly, Multilogin has announced plans to retire Multilogin 6 by 2025. Current users will be able to migrate to Multilogin X for free. This transition highlights their push towards modernization—although many users are waiting to see how seamless and reliable the new system will be.
Multilogin Review
1. Pricing
Multilogin positions itself strictly as a premium product, offering no free plan at all. However, facing increasing competition, it has been forced to introduce a limited trial version. Unfortunately, the trial is hardly appealing — it lasts only 3 days, comes with restricted features, and still costs €3.99. Many competitors, such as AdsPower, offer much more generous options: AdsPower's free version, for example, provides lifetime access to 5 browser profiles without any time limit.
When it comes to paid plans, Multilogin remains expensive compared to its competitors, especially given that essential features like automation and advanced team management are not even included. In 2025, this pricing strategy feels even less justified.
For instance, if you need 100 browser profiles to manage multiple accounts, Multilogin charges €79 per month (approximately $90). Moreover, it only includes 2 team seats, which are fixed and cannot be adjusted, offering very little flexibility for growing teams.
In contrast, AdsPower charges only $27.60 per month for managing 100 profiles. If you need more team members to collaborate, you can flexibly add additional seats based on your needs. Even if you expand your team to 22 members, the monthly cost would still be just $87.6 — lower than Multilogin's $90 charge for only 2 seats.
2. User Interface and Ease of Use
Multilogin's interface has barely changed over the years. While the layout is functional, it feels outdated compared to newer browsers.
Additionally, the main dashboard lacks built-in advanced fingerprint configuration tools. Users cannot easily tweak fine-grained parameters like Canvas, AudioContext, WebGL, or Client Rects directly from the UI.
This makes it less beginner-friendly and forces users to operate at a more technical level than necessary.
3. Browser Engine Support and Kernel Update Speed
In Multilogin X, users can choose between Mimic X (Chrome-based) and Stealthfox (Firefox-based) engines — a rare advantage, as most anti-detect browsers, except AdsPower, only support Chromium. For users who prefer Firefox, having a stable and reliable Firefox-based option is rare and valuable.
4. Automation and API Integration
Multilogin offers a powerful API for developers, allowing for advanced automation by passing requests between applications to streamline workflows. However, for users without coding experience, using the API can be challenging and not very beginner-friendly.
AdsPower, on the other hand, provides more accessible automation options alongside its API. For beginners or non-developers, AdsPower offers Free RPA (Robotic Process Automation) features, which include pre-made scripts that can be used with a single click — for example, automatically confirming friends requests without writing any code.
However, if the kernel is outdated, profiles won't launch until updated. Also, during profile creation, Multilogin X doesn't show user-agent or kernel version details upfront, unlike platforms like AdsPower, making setup less transparent.
In addition, AdsPower's multi-window synchronizer feature allows you to manage multiple identical tasks at the same time, making multitasking much easier.
5. Proxy Management
Multilogin now includes built-in proxies and offers some proxy traffic as part of its paid plans, which is a nice improvement in terms of overall usability and user-friendliness.
However, if you need to update or manage proxies in bulk, Multilogin may fall short of expectations. During my trial, I didn't find any features that support batch proxy management, which can be frustrating for users who need to regularly refresh or update their proxies.
Fortunately, AdsPower provides a much more flexible solution. Whether you need to batch import proxies, batch update them, or organize them using tags, AdsPower makes proxy management simple and efficient — saving you a lot of time and effort.
6. Team Collaboration
Multilogin supports multiple users under one account, but it lacks action logs—an essential feature for businesses managing teams.
Without detailed activity records, it becomes difficult to audit account operations, troubleshoot mistakes, or ensure accountability among team members.
AdsPower antidetect browsers are already providing full team permission controls and detailed logs to improve collaboration transparency.

Conclusion
Overall, by 2025, Multilogin is no longer a cost-effective choice. With its high pricing, users naturally expect a broader range of features and greater convenience. However, Multilogin mainly focuses on basic functions and lacks the richer capabilities that users now expect — making it less competitive in today's market.
With more affordable and feature-rich alternatives available, it's understandable that many users are exploring other options. After all, everyone wants a solution that truly meets their needs without overspending.
